About Me
Postdoctoral Researcher in AI & Control Theory
Hi there! I'm Jerome. I'm passionate about cutting-edge technology and developing the next generation of intelligent systems. In particular, I design better deep sequence models (e.g. LLMs) via thorough analysis and I'm teaching robots how to make smart and safe decisions in partially known environments.
Currently, I'm a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zurich working in Prof. Melanie Zeilinger's group. My research interests lie in the broad fields of artificial intelligence and optimal control. More specifically, I'm working on explainable deep sequence models (SSMs, Transformers , etc.) by analyzing them with control theory. I obtained my PhD in November 2024 from ETH Zurich, where I worked on robust and learning-based predictive control algorithms for aerospace applications. Prior to my PhD, I obtained a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engieering and a Master's degree in robotics, systems, and control (with honors) from ETH Zurich in 2016 and 2019, respectively.
